Now select “iCloud.”

How to Use the “Find My iPhone” App?

Follow the steps below to locate your lost or stolen iPhone.

Step 1:

Open the “Find My iPhone” app from the home screen.

Step 2:

The app will ask for your Apple ID. Enter your email and password to sign in.

Step 3:

Now tap the name of the device you are looking for.

Step 4:

The app will show you the device’s location on the map. In order to access more options, tap on the blue dot on the map.

Step 5:

At the bottom of the screen, three options will be available to you.

You can “Play Sound” to locate your phone if you know it’s within hearing distance.

If you have lost your iPhone, then use the “Lost Mode” to prevent others from using it and accessing data stored on it.

Lastly, if you wish to erase all the data from your iPhone, tap on the “Erase iPhone” option.

Step 6:

Tap on the car icon to get directions for your device’s last known location.

How to Use “Find My iPhone” on a  Browser?

Step 1:

Open your browser and go to the iCloud website at https://www.icloud.com/find.

Step 2:

Enter your Apple ID and password to sign in.

Step 3:

When the map appears, click on the dots to see the device name. For the desired device, click on the “i” sign to view further options.

Step 4:

The same options available on the app will be visible on the left of the screen. Choose the one you need to locate your phone.
